A real one off – this stunning and luxurious large thatched cottage sleeps 12 and offers a huge amount of living space for groups or larger families. Henchard has four very large bedrooms, one with a king-size bed and contemporary en-suite shower room and a second with a king-size bed and en-suite modern bathroom with separate shower. There is a kids’ room with bunk beds, plus a set of twin zip link beds, where there is plenty of room to enjoy board games, kids’ TV or DVD viewing and baby feeding and changing. Lastly, there is a family room with a king-sized bed and bunk beds. All the bedrooms have generous storage and dressing space. There is a spacious modern family bathroom with shower over the bath.
The very large sitting room and dining area has an exposed beam ceiling with plenty of seating around the 52” flat screen TV with DVD player and surround sound system and a living flame gas fire. The large dining area has seating for 12 at a beautiful wooden table with comfortable dining chairs. The atmospheric lighting will create the perfect environment for memorable dinners after relaxing days enjoying our facilities and the surrounding area. The galley kitchen is well equipped and appliances include a double oven, hob, dishwasher, two fridges, a freezer and microwave. Beyond the kitchen there is a utility area with washer dryer and a cloakroom with w/c and hand basin. The property has tiled floors with under-floor heating throughout.
Doors from the sitting room open out onto the large terraced area with a barbecue, seating for 12 and a large lawn overlooking the enclosed paddock, the lake with its living willow, wildlife, planting and seating for all to enjoy, woods and rolling countryside. There are modern, comfortable loungers to relax on while someone else gets busy with the barbecue and the children will love the space available for outdoor fun and games. Change over day is Friday for 7 night bookings.
