Greenwood Grange - Eco cabins

Greenwood Grange intends to install single storey Eco units to increase the accommodation offered and to create more variety of short let units for guests.

The design of the buildings, the layout and the landscaping proposed have all been conceived to minimise any impact on the surrounding area. This will offer a sustainable and sensitively thought out new area of amenity space, with zero carbon-rated accommodation where possible for up to another 30 guests. The extensive landscaping and native planting will also encourage local wildlife and birds to the site.

All the units will have low impact energy technology installed to provide heating, hot water and rainwater recycling. The units will be built on screw piles, thereby only touching the ground lightly. Several of the units will be specifically designed to create top-quality disability access with ramps, bathing facilities and thresholds to allow easy wheelchair manoeuvrability.
