The accommodation at Greenwood Grange makes a perfect venue for your party or family gathering. We don't hold a wedding license but details of local approved venues can be found at www.dorsetforyou.com - should you hire accommodation with us we will be pleased to help you arrange your reception and can suggest a number of local suppliers who can tailor the day to your own requirements.
Whether it is a reception in a marquee, barbeque in the
garden or gourmet dinner in your cottage, local caterers can provide food and
refreshments tailored to your own taste. We have spacious gardens suitable for
marquees or outdoor events, plenty of car parking and when the party is over,
guests have just a short walk to their own cottage. Please note that use of the grounds for parties and or receptions is for residents only.
For younger guests attending your party we have the outdoor
activity space with trampoline, swings, and play yurt. There is also an indoor swimming pool and
indoor games room with table tennis, pool and bar billiards – enough to keep
them occupied all day!
We have linked with a number of local suppliers from
photographers to florists and local bands who have been recommended to us many
will offer special discounts when you mention you are staying at Greenwood
Grange. Our own team can help with
additional advice if there is something out of the ordinary that you are trying
to arrange.

Conferences.
Henchard is available to hire for small conferences,
training days or meetings of up to 30 delegates, the private location makes
this a unique venue in a beautiful area of Dorset.
There is a large garden which is perfect for outdoor
activities such as team building tasks and with Thorncombe woods on the
doorstep, forest trails and orienteering could be included into your day.
Costs start at £25 per delegate per day which includes
refreshments on arrival, mid morning coffee and mid afternoon tea (minimum of
15 delegates). Free car parking is
included. Audio Visual equipment can be
hired upon request.
We can recommend local caterers who can provide breakfast,
lunch or dinner in Henchard.
Should you have delegates who wish to stay the night in
Henchard (4 bedrooms sleeping up to 12 adults) special prices are available and
we can supply a breakfast hamper for them.
