In fact, you only have to step out of your cottage door and you’re virtually in Thorncombe Woods, 66 wonderful acres, a ‘magical pocket of mixed woodland’ as the National Trust describes it. And for most of the year, dogs are able to exercise off the lead there. There’s nothing better than a lovely long and winding walk followed by feet up on the sofa with a cup of tea and Dorset biscuits…
If you’re visiting somewhere during your stay that’s not suitable for your pet then we can arrange a dog-sitter. We wouldn’t want you to miss out!
So bring the whole family.
There’s a treat waiting for your four-legged friend to chew on whilst you check in.
